Yeah, I get to watch movies and rave about them over at my other fun gigs. Recently at Geeky Domain, which is becoming quite the happening place since I’ve tacked my hat over its shingle, I’ve gotten to revisit some of my favorite film hobbyhorses.
We revisited the forgotten gems of Disney’s Dork Age, while I flaunted my Gen-X status as the generation that Disney forgot. Pictured above: NONE of the gems, but the movies that made it a Dork Age.
Among superheroes, there are superflop movies, and I tried to not only list them, but analyze why they flopped. Sadly, some comic book titles are just doomed to the dustbin.
Groundhog Day reminded me of the movie of the same title (thanks Internet!), which got me on the subject of time travel movies in general. Yeah, anybody but me remember when Primer broke the Internet clean in two?
While we were on Disney, I also gave them their due with the best Disney villains. That’s one thing we can all agree that Disney has done it right… sometimes?
